DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT
​
"I Have No Time For Your Negative Bullshit" was the first film that I made in USC's CTPR 290 class, and one of the first projects I worked on after the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. Unable to leave my apartment, I tried to use items around me and my roommates as actors to tell a story that related to the zeitgeist of that time ... how we were all grappling with isolation and lack of social interaction in a virtual world.

One of my main goals and challenges with this piece was to tell a story about isolation without being too depressing and dour, but instead felt engaging in a way that allowed the audience to connect with the protagonist and his struggles.
